We all have heroes – whether they are our parents or the Caped Crusader. But - especially for kids - it’s important to have a hero that you can look up to AND relate to. Artist, David Heredia wanted to make sure his kids could read about heroes who looked like them, so he took matters into his own hands and ended up with Heroes of Color.
During the end of my NALAC workshop on sharing tips to artists learning about entrepreneurship, I shared one of the most important habits of growth. Networking and all that it entails.
