This weekend I put on a film festival for 600 students who were part of my animation program. My 6 instructors, worked with 10 schools in the National School District to come up with their short films on social justice. NBC did an amazing story, see it here.

As I prepared for the madness of planning a red carpet event / animation film festival, I will admit that I was very nervous. This was such a new venture and clearly forced me out of my comfort zone.
