The Junior ARTrepreneurs art workshop was created to help young artists learn about the business of art and to help them create financial opportunities through art. Although the class meets live at 10am pacific time, anyone can participate as we will give you a recording of the live class and schedule a group zoom chat with students who are unable to attend the live sessions. We will be partnering with other organizations such as LA Weekly, who have agreed to help promote the Virtual Art Show on their website, in an effort to help students gain maximum exposure and potential sales opportunities.

Students will get worksheets that they can use long after the program ends. Use them to develop new strategies on how to sell their artwork to clients. 

virtual art show

A 5-day, virtual art show will highlight the students work. Art show will be hosted by multiple websites including LA Weekly

templates

We will provide students with templates that they can use to practice their designs. This is a great way to test their colors and overall design. 

    Workshops available

    Session One: June 15 - 25
    Meets: Monday through Thursday (8 classes)
    Time: 10am - 11am PST
    Class Description: The first session will go over how to paint on canvas sneakers, cotton face-masks and creating 3D canvas. 
    Session Two: July 6 - 16
    Meets: Monday through Thursday (8 classes)
    Time: 10am - 11am PST
    Class Description: The second session will go over how to paint on Jean jackets, caps and toy trucks.

    photography and video release

    Heroes of Color LLC is requesting your permission to use videos and photos of you and your children during this art workshop. We will be requesting photos/videos of students while working on their art projects. We plan to use the images/photos to help promote the art program via flyers, facebook, Instagram and online at www.heroesofcolor.com. By checking the box of this release you are granting us permission to use the photos and videos that you provide of your children.

    Terms and conditions

    Due to technical nature of the virtual learning environment, I understand that a number of technical issues may occur during the live class session. If an instructor is unable to start or complete a live class session, Heroes of Color LLC will notify you and provide either a recorded version of the live class session and/or an alternate class session to covered information taught during that class session. No refund will be provided for the loss of instructional time due to technical issues occurring during the live class session or for technical issues preventing a class sessions from going live.
